We regret that Milton House doesn't allow:

  • Large crowd parties including stag/hen

  • Smoking/fireworks/candles/firepits/portable bbqs/chinese lanterns

  • Pets

DEPOSITS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

  • When you decide to book with us in advance up to 30 days before your arrival, we will ask you for a deposit, which is 50% of the full price.

  • This deposit is fully refundable up to a week before arrival.

  • We will then ask you to pay the rest of the booking a week before your arrival, including a damage deposit (£50). This will be refunded within 7 days of the end of your holiday, if there are no damages/breakages.

  • If you decide to cancel your booking, you must notify us by email.

  • If you decide to cancel your booking within the week of arrival, you will not get a refund.

  • We will encourage guests to re-arrange another date instead and this will be valid for a year from booking. If you opt out of this option, we will only give you a full refund if we can get a replacement booking.

  • Guests who book with us a week before arrival date, should pay the full price and no refunds can be given.

  • If your booking is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be notified and a full refund will be given. An option to re-arrange another date is possible.

We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect themselves from the financial impact of cancelling. If you choose not to, you accept full responsibility for any losses that you may incur due to cancellation.

  • Milton House is on a quiet residential road and so we ask that you are mindful of the neighbours. Please keep noise levels to a minimum between 10pm and 9am.

  • Please only park your vehicle in the designated parking space, making sure not to block entries to other properties. Parking is limited to one vehicle.

  • WiFi should only be used in a reasonable and lawful way.

Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • We require the name, age and contact details of ALL guests.

  • Only those listed on the booking form can stay at Milton House. No extra visitors are allowed to stay overnight at the property.

  • The owner reserves the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason.

DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES

  • Please treat the property with care so that others can enjoy the experience too.

  • If you notice something is missing or damaged, please notify us immediately.

  • If something is damaged or broken during your stay, we would be grateful if you could let us know before you check out.

  • The property will be inspected after your stay and you may be charged for loss, damage or extra cleaning costs.

  • If damage occurs and results in the owner refunding or cancelling future bookings, the owner may bring a claim against you.

  • Any problem or complaint must be immediately reported to us to allow us to resolve the issue.

  • Please note: If any of the keys issued are not returned at the end of your stay, you may be charged for the replacements.

We reserve the right to terminate your holiday agreement with immediate effect where the unreasonable behaviours of those named on the booking or the guests, impair the enjoyment, comfort and health of others. You will be asked to leave the property, without any refund of the amount paid.
